Security Screening

All bags, jackets, blankets, and other belongings may be inspected before entry or while on the rodeo grounds. Guests who choose not to participate in a required security screening may be denied entry.

Security staff and rodeo management may deny any item they determine could create a safety concern, interfere with the event, or disrupt other guests. Prohibited items should be returned to your vehicle; the rodeo cannot store them at the gate.

Clear Bag Policy

The Daniel Dopps Memorial Rodeo clear bag policy is in effect for all performances. Each guest may bring one clear bag and one small clutch for personal items. All permitted bags remain subject to inspection.

Items Not Allowed

For the safety and comfort of everyone on the grounds, the following items are prohibited:

• Weapons, including knives with blades longer than three inches
• Laser pointers
• Artificial noisemakers
• Professional cameras with detachable lenses
• Video cameras, including GoPro-style cameras
• Banners and signs
• Outside food or beverages, including outside alcohol
• Cans, glass bottles, and personal coolers
• Umbrellas
• Pets, except service animals as permitted by applicable law

This list is not exhaustive. All other items are admitted at the discretion of security staff and rodeo management.

Cameras and Recording

Professional cameras with detachable lenses and video cameras are not permitted without advance authorization. The Daniel Dopps Memorial Rodeo and the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) do not permit the unauthorized recording, transmission, distribution, or sale of event descriptions, photographs, video, audio, or other reproductions of a PRCA performance or slack event.

Failure to follow the camera or recording policy may result in removal from the grounds and cancellation of admission privileges.

Animals

Pets are not allowed in spectator or event areas. Trained service animals are permitted as required by applicable law and must remain under their handler’s control.

Guest Conduct

Guests must follow posted rules and instructions from security, law enforcement, volunteers, and rodeo staff. Conduct that threatens safety, interferes with the event, or disrupts other guests may result in denied entry or removal without refund.

By entering the Daniel Dopps Memorial Rodeo grounds, each guest agrees to follow these policies. Rodeo management reserves the right to interpret and enforce the policies based on the circumstances present at the event.
